Fleet[edit]

Rather than just remove the fleet as it is clearly out of place in an article about a holding company just looking for other opinions. MilborneOne (talk) 12:42, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I concur, it is just a holding company, with two subsidiaries, each of which have dedicated articles which list their fleets in detail. I don't recall there being such a combined list in any other similar instance. A quick look at the article for another similar holding company - Air France-KLM - shows that it doesn't include such detail either. Jasepl (talk) 05:44, 12 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

NACIL IS NO MORE[edit]

The name of NACIL has been changed to Air India.

Current chart removed[edit]

I've removed it because instead of showing this:

  • Air India Ltd
    • Five other subsidiaries
    • Air India
      • Air India Express
      • Air India Regional

it showed this:

Air India Limited
Air IndiaAir India ExpressAir India Regional

This directly contradicts the Air India page and this page's infobox. ‑Ugog Nizdast (talk) 11:08, 7 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I've replaced it with this:

Air India Ltd
Air IndiaHotel Corporation of India LimitedAir India Charters LimitedIAL Airport Services LimitedAirline Allied Services LimitedAir India Engineering Services LtdAir India Transport Services Limited
Air India ExpressAir India Regional

Merger suggestion[edit]

I suggest to merge this page into Air India as this is just a parent company 139.192.40.161 (talk) 11:06, 5 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

But it did not used to be. Wikipedia has articles about the past as well as the present. When Queen Elizabeth II died, we did not delete the article on her. -- Toddy1 (talk) 11:19, 5 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Can you try to explain your statement? I didn't mention about deleting the article just because it's in the past. 139.192.40.161 (talk) 13:56, 10 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps you could try to explain why you think that this page should be merged better?-- Toddy1 (talk) 15:47, 10 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Since this short page is just a corporation which own Air India, I suggest this page could just be a part of Air India#Corporate affairs and identity instead. 139.192.40.161 (talk) 04:00, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
But why?-- Toddy1 (talk) 06:34, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
