Redundant?[edit]

I find this page highly redundant in general with the main team article (which has a detailed Saban era section) as well as the individual season articles. I don't know of any other teams with an individual coaching tenure article quite like this. Are we sure this article is necessary? --Zaqwert (talk) 03:29, 25 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Firstly there are several other coaching tenure articles like this (see History of college football by team). Secondly, I plan on this being an eventual lead article for a good topic on Alabama Crimson Tide football under Nick Saban that includes the 2007 through the present seasons (4 of which are already GA class). Also, as I continue to work on expanding individual Alabama season articles, I had planned on creating articles similar to this to serve as an overview of that particular tenure linked back to the main Alabama Crimson Tide football article. Are there some redundancies, yes. However, as more information is researched and cited, I do feel this type of article is necessary to provide an overview of a particular era instead of adding this level of detail to the main Alabama page or even a coaches' page.
