Mr. Boe and the principals in La Boheme won a Tony Honors for Excellence award in 2003. These non-competitive awards were set up in 1990 by the American Theatre Wing and "are presented to institutions, individuals and/or organizations that have demonstrated extraordinary achievement in theatre, but are not eligible to compete in any of the established Tony Award categories." ^[1] WorldTraveler9 (talk) 10:51, 6 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

incorrect info[edit]

Article references Boe's "father's" records as an inspiration. Link is to Richard Tauber, who died in 1948. Alfie Boe was born in 1973. Neat trick, that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TomWilliams1993 (talk • contribs) 02:32, 13 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The personal life section sticks out as being inserted by a passing editor. Names are misspelled, the information is sketchy ("to start a show"), no links. Needs work.◦◦derekbd ◦◦my talk◦◦ 13:48, 4 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The word "talking" is used instead of "taking" in the first paragraph: "... Boe talking on the role...".
