I am well aware that convention entries are commonplace on this Wikipedia for example Wiki has articles titled the "Baltimore ComicCon", "CES" and others all of which are corporate owned, sponsored, organized and composed.

Concerning notability I have used my experience with other articles dealing with convention as precedents (some conventions articled on Wikipedia for instance have as few as one thousand attendees per year and are held in relatively low market areas areas as opposed to this convention which is held in Las Vegas with more attendees) and have very specific and obscure themes

In all honesty the issue with this article has much to do with a dearth of information on the sites from the sources I used and my unfamiliarity with the ever broadening set of Wikipedia protocols for article creation.

I propose that instead of deleting the article. That others more familiar with the convention, that have access to better sources of info improve the article and bring it up to Wiki standards.

To that end please put up a needs improvement banner ad follow suit as opposed to deletion. Thank you.

UPDATE: I looked for secondary sources and other than the various associations that have an interst in the convention I found a video on Dailymotion http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xckgu7_amusement-expo-2010-pac-man-battle_videogames and a mention on an obscure enthusiasts blog. Why not move it into your own userspace until you have the necessary info? As it stands, it does not meet the notability guideline & without citations it will continue not to do so. It doesn't matter that other stuff exists etc - each article stands or falls on its own merits. - Sitush (talk) 21:44, 26 March 2011 (UTC)

I would like to move this article to my userspace, but understand I am not likely to get a chance to scrounge up offline secondary source soon if at all. If the article is relegated to my userspace, is there a way to make it public to other editors who have access to those other sources??? It may have inherent notability though based on the number of vendors and the location in which it is held. AM I right in guessing that the two associations that are the main sponsers of the convention are not valid due to their commercial interests?
