Bishōjo?[edit]

Who put this in the Bishoujo game category? The only Angelique title that features a male lead dating girls is fan-made. I am removing this category. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.193.31.19 (talkcontribs) 07:42, 21 January 2007‎ (UTC)[reply]

Dating Sim?[edit]

Jan 26/07 - Why are the Angelique games classified as Dating Sim while Neo Angelique is Adventure/Dating Sim? They are all classified as adventure by their makers, and (for citation purposes) when you look them up on Amazon.co.jp they are under Adventure games. I am removing the Dating Sim-only heading and putting all the titles under Adventure/Dating Sim.Lijakaca 19:26, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not visual novel[edit]

Angelique is also not a visual novel, it's an adventure/dating sim. It has gameplay, not just dialogue choices. I am removing the visual novel tag from this article. If anyone disagrees we can discuss it, but I think keeping it in will muddy the whole question of what is a visual novel, and all that nasty debate. Lijakaca 18:32, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I also added the wp:vg tag and assessed it as start class.Lijakaca 19:09, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

VN taskforce also covers dating sims.-- Brainy J ~~ (talk) 18:21, 17 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Angelique logo.gif[edit]

Image:Angelique logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Anime Info Needed[edit]

Could someone who has the information please expand the anime & manga sections? At the very least, dates are needed. CFLeon (talk) 22:59, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup and Info Needed[edit]

I just stumbled on this article and noticed it was missing the last few generations of game releases (including the upcoming Switch title), so I added them, but I don't have all of the information yet for most of them. Can anyone help by adding release dates for the rest? I think it would also help a lot to have a list of which games were released on which platforms. I'm not sure if I found all of the recent multi-platform releases. Also not 100% sure which of the ones I added are main games vs spinoffs - I haven't played them. Someone with more information (and/or an interest in organizing the page better), please help! Londonbeat41692 (talk) 11:10, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

"Censored" game cartridge art? Copyright reasons?[edit]

Is there any particular reason why the image of the game cartridge is manually censored on this page? It doesn't contain indecent content of any kind. Auntie Aliasing (talk) 10:21, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
