Untitled[edit]

Williams was originally on the Philadelphia Eagles, started for them an entire season, and was subsequently suspended for drug abuse (marijuana). He's also played XFL and arena league. He is an interesting person to Philadelphia Eagles fans especially.InsultComicDog 15:38, 8 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Superbowl win[edit]

Since he wasn't realeased by the team up to 2023, does he deserve the Superbowl win? 95.246.48.1 (talk) 08:07, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No, he was not on the active roster. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 13:20, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • ... that Bernard Williams was not released by the Philadelphia Eagles until 29 years after he played his last game for them? Source: NBC Sports

    • Comment: Was 711 bytes prose on November 17 (time requirement can be extended two days on request per the DYK guidelines), meaning that it will need to be 3555 bytes to be eligible under a 5x expansion. Its currently 2,864, so will need to be expanded a bit more, but I intend on doing that soon.

5x expanded by BeanieFan11 (talk) and Eagles247 (talk). Nominated by BeanieFan11 (talk) at 03:07, 26 November 2023 (UTC). Post-promotion hook changes for this nom will be logged at Template talk:Did you know nominations/Bernard Williams (gridiron football); consider watching this nomination, if it is successful, until the hook appears on the Main Page.[reply]

  • This doesn't seem to have been expanded 5x. Am I missing something?—Bagumba (talk) 07:25, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    • I still have to do the rest of the expansion (it had been ~3x expanded by seven days when I nominated it, still have to do the other 2x), will try to soon. BeanieFan11 (talk) 15:56, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
