I made a correction, I believe "Chaos Bleeds" was never released in the PC format.

Okay, where is the evidence that Chaos Bleeds was set during the fifth season? As far as I can tell, the details from the game narrow it down to 'shortly before season seven' and that suggests early-to-mid season six to me.Jayunderscorezero 13:50, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There was an interview online where Golden explained it was set very specifically between episodes 17 and 18 of Season 5, and Dawn had gone to a camp. I can no longer find the interview but I have the game for the PS2 and can confirm it is Season 5, and events like Willow's addiction to magicm Buffy's death/depression, Xander and Anya engaged.. have not taken place. It doesn't exactly fit with continuity (ignores ongoing storylines at this point such as Glory...) but that's why its not taken as canon. You have to assume Faith came out of jail then goes back again. You have to assume the Scoobs faced the First once again after Amends in this game, and failed to mention the Chaod Bleeds run-in when they encountered the First on a more epic level in season 7. Quickly looking around the net most people realise the game takes place in season 5 e.g. http://www.dignews.com/review.php?story_id=859 http://p081.ezboard.com/fthekittenthewitchesandthebadwardrobe36671frm24.showMessageRange?topicID=174.topic&start=41&stop=60 (and hundreds of others - google's always useful for these kinds of searches. -- Buffyverse 20:02, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Just found a press release for the game:

Okay, thanks for that. I must have been confused by the lack of Glory/foreshadowing of events from season seven. Thanks for clearing that up.Jayunderscorezero 13:45, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Split[edit]

I standardized all these to the Computer and video game project, but the page looks a bit of a mess on large displays now because of the size of the infoboxes compared to the relatively short text. Does anyone else think we should split all the games off to separate pages and just keep thsi one as general information about Buffy games? Ace of Sevens 19:10, 2 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I just decided to be bold and do it. Some of them could perhaps use a bit of work, but overall, it's a big improvement, IMHO. This page may need a bit of formatting work now. Ace of Sevens 05:09, 3 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
