Fair use rationale for Image:Concacafchampionlogo.jpg[edit]

Image:Concacafchampionlogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 21:52, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sponsors?[edit]

What is the relationship between Pachuca and Cemento Cruz Azul? I saw no mention of sponsors.. and since Cemento Cruz Azul also sponsors Cruz Azul some mention of that would be informative. Skrymsli 23:41, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Superliga jersey:

Hello, can anyone explain for me why their jersey's during the recent Superliga all said "Cruz Azul - Cementarios"? (For those who don't know, that is the name and nickname of one of their competitors in Mexico). Thank You.

Gecko G 21:16, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The main jersey sponsor for CF Pachuca is Cemento Cruz Azul, one of the largest cement companies in Mexico. This company founded in 1927 its own sporting club, Club Deportivo Social y Cultural Cruz Azul, and the soccer team for this club turned pro during the 1960s. That team is, of course, Cruz Azul and its main jersey sponsor is, you guessed it, Cemento Cruz Azul. Balderai 04:44, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rivalry UANL[edit]

Pachuca has never beaten UANL in the Estadio Universitario. Why dont you add that to the Rivalry area of the Pachuca wiki page?? Even on the 2 finals they won there they won on aggregate, not the actual game, they lost 1-0 in one, and tied 1-1 on the other. The descriptions makes it seems like only the UANL has a grudge, but they have never won a single game in UANL, thats gotta hurt.

This is not the Pachuca website, tell the story straight. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.160.21.121 (talk) 21:02, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Survey[edit]

Feel free to state your position on the renaming proposal by beginning a new line in this section with *'''Support''' or *'''Oppose''', then sign your comment with ~~~~. Since polling is not a substitute for discussion, please explain your reasons, taking into account Wikipedia's naming conventions.
  • Support - To have the club's name in Spanish and then not put the words in the right order is silly. Club de Futbol Pachuca is what it should be. - PeeJay 04:22, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - makes sense to me to use the correct name. - fchd 06:23, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - but why not just C.F. Pachuca (compare with Liverpool F.C. for example) Sebisthlm 09:11, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nom. пﮟოьεԻ 57 11:18, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support but prefer C.F. Pachuca since the club it rarely referred to by the long name (similar to the example given of Liverpool F.C.). Jogurney 13:42, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support to Club de Futbol Pachuca as the proper name of the club. If not this then CF Pachuca, without the dots, as when it written like this the dots are rarely used. King of the North East (T/C) 15:31, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion[edit]

Mexico's Team?[edit]

"In its recent history, Pachuca has become a team to be respected in Mexican football and is nicknamed "El Equipo de México" (Mexico's Team)."

By whom? Themselves? Lol! The "Mexico's Team" is a slogan THEY use in THEIR ads... nobody in Mexico except themselves use it. Please clarify if I'm wrong by citing a source. The entire article reads as an infomercial for the team.

Table problem[edit]

The table in the section of international game is not properly displayed, but I am not familiar with tables and thus donno how to deal with it. Could someone passby please solve this problem? Thx!! Salt (talk) 14:57, 13 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, the numbers are totally wrong, the win percentages are manipulated and pulled out someones butt. Really, its not that hard: winning % = Number of wins / # games played. Or alternatively: Winning % = (games played - tied games). But whoever made the table is a dork. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 187.153.135.167 (talk) 18:13, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

CF Pachuca or Pachuca CF?[edit]

There seems to be an inconsistency regarding the club's name. The Spanish Wiki puts CF Pachuca instead of Pachuca CF, but the English articles says the contrary in its first line and infobox, contradicting its own title... Does anyone know of any official source that may back up this issue? Thanks. Ipsumesse (talk) 12:59, 9 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Pachuca's historic table in First Division (1943-Apertura 2013)[edit]

This table contains numerous rows that contain no statistical data because the team was not in the first division in the associated seasons. These rows need to be removed so that the table is more useful and readable. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.136.117.235 (talk) 15:59, 20 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
