Semi-protected edit request on 30 January 2019[edit]

I would like to add additional sources to support the claims of this article. Parallel mimes (talk) 07:25, 30 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: this is not the right page to request additional user rights. You may reopen this request with the specific changes to be made and someone will add them for you, or if you have an account, you can wait until you are autoconfirmed and edit the page yourself. (edit conflict)  Not done We can't give you access to edit the article, you have to earn it by making good edits (edits that are not reverted) on unprotected articles.
If you have additional sources, feel free to supply them here and an 'auto-confirmed" editor can apply them. It would also be useful to know where they should be applied. Walter Görlitz (talk) 07:42, 30 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Callum Hudson-Odoi[edit]

Crimson ClawYT Acroterion Joeykai There appears to be a back-and-forth going on here about Hudson-Odoi's arrest. As I believe that mentioning this is WP:UNDUE and a WP:BLP violation I will not mention what was alleged against him, but we all know what I'm talking about. Let's discuss. This shouldn't be on Hudson-Odoi's Wikipedia article for the rest of his life and beyond. He was never charged, the allegations were dropped by police, they were completely without foundation. I'll protect the page to ensure that there are no further violations of thebiographies of living persons policy. I'm speaking here as an administrator who is enforcing policy, and I'll issue a warning to the editor who restored it. Acroterion (talk) 19:58, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like it's already protected (by me), so I've left a note for the editor who restored it through the semi-protection. Acroterion (talk) 20:06, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Can you explain why it can’t be posted. I never suggested that he did it but he still got arrested. Whether he will face no further action or didn’t even do it shouldn’t matter. It’s news. It’s happened. It’s not smearing his name. It’s an event that happened in his personal life and I don’t see why it shouldn’t be talked about. Crimson ClawYT (talk) 22:22, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I personally think it should be include. Walter Görlitz (talk) 05:26, 18 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
