Ground name[edit]

In the early 1980s, Corinthian-Casuals reached the FA Cup first round (proper) and elected to play their home tie, against Bristol City, at this ground (albeit the stadium that has since been demolished). I'm sure the posters for the match urged potential spectators to come and watch the event "at Dog Kennel Hill" rather than Champion Hill. Was that a one-off address, to help people find the ground, or was the stadium regularly known by that name at that time? Grubstreet (talk) 12:26, 7 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
