BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Deputies at the Ascension Parish Jail confirmed 22-year-old former LSU football player, Charles Scott, was arrested this afternoon in the rape of an 18-year-old.

Authorities said he was charged with simple rape and bond has not been set.
