Notes[edit]

HAs there been any official comment on the wheel cover problem? It's rare to see a Lumina with all four wheel covers. Even replacements tend to fall off after a while. PrometheusX303 13:58, 31 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've always assumed that there was a problem with the base "lace" wheel covers on the 1990-1994. Those base Luminas are the ones that suffered the problem. the 1995+ don't suffer from this, and I don't think that the optional "sport" hubcaps on the 1990-1994 had this problem either. 93euro 16:30, 23 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure what year model, but they are always the first generation. There are quite a few around town. Most of them are missing at least one wheel cover. Those that aren't have replacement sets. PrometheusX303 00:47, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see very many beater cars of any make with all their original hubcaps. mine has all of its originals, and it's a 91. one is missing some nuts though.

--- Neither of my first generation Luminas have had any problem retaining their hubcaps. And I've hitten some pretty big potholes and such on poorly maintained dirt roads. LuminaRS

Lumina LTZ?[edit]

LTZ is a luxury trim for most Chevrolets today. The LTZ was the high-end Lumina introduced in 1997, but did it replace the Caprice? -- Bull-Doser 01:51, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Um... the 1990-94 section is talking about the Ford Escort for some reason. Looks like vandalism?

Need To ad UTE[edit]

How many names one car have? It's hard to understand since I'm in China, quite far away to USA. http://www.chevrolet.co.za/content_data/LAAM/ZA/en/GBPZA/001/models/1F/gallery.html

Full-size car?[edit]

The 2nd generation Lumina is over 200 inches long, so I think it should be classified as a full-size car. The 1st generation Lumina is close to 200 inches too, but I'm okay with it being classified as mid-size or full-size. I just want to make sure that other people agree that the 95-01 Lumina is full-size before I make any changes. —Reelcheeper (talk) 19:19, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Absolutely not. The car was never designed or marketed as a full-size and there is no way it could be construed as such with its size and market position. --Sable232 (talk) 16:25, 28 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thanks. Even though I still consider Luminas to be full-size, I will not make any changes since they technically are mid-size. —Reelcheeper (talk) 21:14, 28 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. The hatnote seems to deal with the other versions. Is there doubt that this is the primary topic? There may be, but the rationale doesn't raise any. The proposed disambiguator is esoteric, and probably unnecessary. Andrewa (talk) 23:00, 7 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion[edit]

Any additional comments:

The disambiguation page is most likely a mess, but this should help things a bit.--SteveCof00 07:42, 30 May 2013 (UTC)

So you'd move the disambiguation page to this location as well? -- 65.94.76.126 (talk) 08:35, 30 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Chevrolet Lumina (disambiguation) does need a little work, but it's hardly a mess. Andrewa (talk) 22:56, 7 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
