Daimaou Kosaka → Pikotaro – The page for PPAP (Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen) links his name under the redirect, so I think this would be an good move. Support. Either Pikotaro or Piko-Taro overwhelmingly seems to be the WP:COMMONNAME, receiving 2,580,000 Google results compared with just 16,700 for the present title. Also used by the usual reliable media sources such as the BBC and CNN. — Amakuru (talk) 09:46, 13 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

AFAIK, he is a comedian under his Daimaou Kosaka pseudonym, and just recently became a performer under his Pikotaro pseudonym. The current article is lacking a lot from the Japanese article, though we might need someone who is able to translate it properly. Oppose Pikotaro is the character/persona portrayed by the subject. From the Straits Times, "Piko-Taro is the alter ego of comedian and DJ Daimaou Kosaka and...." To be fair, Daimaou Kosaka is a pseudonym too, but it has a longer history. I think the current title is fine for now. --Lemongirl942 (talk) 19:13, 24 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Pikotaro his fictional persona, who is supposed to have been born 1963 (age 53), but according to the Japanese article Kosaka himself is born 1973 and is age 43. This needs to be checked and probably corrected. Pikotaro is also fictitiously married to a 78 year old woman. @おわさか: I appended it yesterday, but please keep in mind: English Wikipedia has Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons policy, as Japanese Wikipedia has w:ja:Wikipedia:存命人物の伝記.
