File:Disney channel bg2.png Nominated for speedy Deletion[edit]

An image used in this article, File:Disney channel bg2.png, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
What should I do?

Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to upload it to Wikipedia (Commons does not allow fair use)
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Commons Undeletion Request

To take part in any discussion, or to review a more detailed deletion rationale please visit the relevant image page (File:Disney channel bg2.png)

Redirect Disney Channel (Netherlands & Flanders) to Disney Channel (Netherlands/Flanders)[edit]

I thinks this is logical if the name for the Disney XD article is also Disney XD (Netherlands/Flanders) and the Disney Junior article is also Disney Junior (Netherlands/Flanders)

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Disney_Channel_(Netherlands/Flanders)&diff=494784672&oldid=494212214 VS. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disney_Channel_(Netherlands_%26_Flanders)

(Netherlands & Flanders) have a very old infobox the infobox from (Netherlands/Flanders) is resent.

Upcoming Cartoons/Series/Movies information in (Netherlands/Flanders) is FALSE in (Netherlands & Flanders) this information is right. Series marked with * are also been broadcasted with subtitles. "Right" (Netherlands/Flanders) Upcoming Cartoons/Series/Movies "Right" (Netherlands & Flanders) Series On Tour "Right" (Netherlands/Flanders)

Viewers in Wallonia and Luxembourg receiving Disney Channel France. See: Main article: Disney Channel (France) "Right" — Preceding unsigned comment added by (62.194.8.239 (talk) 15:17, 28 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

As I indicated on your talk page,[1][2] redirecting an established article is inappropriate. If there are issues with the article, we fix them, we don't abandon articles and head off to a new one. If you think that the article's name is incorrect, you need to request a move, providing valid reasons as to why the page should be moved. We need to provide appropriate attribution for previous contributors, so the page history must be moved. A redirect will not achieve that. Your claim that Disney Channel (Netherlands/Flanders) is consistent with Disney Junior (Netherlands/Flanders) is not compelling as Disney Channel (Netherlands & Flanders) is consistent with other Disney Channel articles such as Disney Channel (UK and Ireland) ("&" and "and" are equivalents), and even Disney Junior articles such as Disney Junior (UK & Ireland) and Disney Junior (Australia and New Zealand). If anything, Disney Junior (Netherlands/Flanders) appears inconsistent with the established naming convention. --AussieLegend (talk) 16:53, 28 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article get longer and longer, Netherlands and Flanders have currently own versions of Disney Channel with own programing.[edit]

I think it's time to create own articles for Disney Channel Flanders and Disney Channel Netherlands, too keep articles and specially the channel infobox more clean. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.35.231.212 (talk) 20:59, 1 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
