2012 or 2013?[edit]

why the title of this article include the year 2013? The Dodge Dart is produced and marketed in 2012 or not? --Pava (talk) 18:55, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Im not sure , but as beaing American car this is about model year (Dodge is produced in 2012 as 2013 model) , dont know how other American car article titles are made? Same problem is with those timelines,,, American car timelines uses model years (seems so) and other used actual production years... this is very confusing.... -->Typ932 T·C 19:05, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
ah ok thanks, but we have to use the conventions (or guidelines) wikipedia, not the conventions of the American market. What has been decided (in en.wiki) on such matters? There is a page that illustrates a project to which the decision came the community about this? --Pava (talk) 20:36, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The Dodge Dart is being released as a 2013 model. There is no such thing as a "2012 Dodge Dart". Therefore, the article's present title is correct. —Scheinwerfermann T·C23:00, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Produced in Toledo?[edit]

I may be wrong but I thought the Dart was to be produced only in Belvidere. VX1NG (talk) 20:51, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Wall Street Journal source stated both. 72Dino (talk) 20:52, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Not trying to start an argument on the internet but the WSJ is the only source I have seen so far stating that. All other sources state that production is in Belvidere. I wonder if the WSJ is confusing Dart production in Toledo with the 2014 Dart-based Liberty/Cherokee replacement.VX1NG (talk) 12:35, 26 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Newspapers often make mistakes, and this may be one. Although the WSJ stated the "car is assembled at Chrysler's facilities in Belvidere, Ill., and Toledo, Ohio", I looked through Chrysler press releases and newspaper articles from Toledo and could only find mention of the Dart being produced in Belvidere . . . nothing about Toledo. I would accept leaving Toledo out unless another reliable source was found supporting it. 72Dino (talk) 15:40, 26 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dodge Dart II[edit]

At least I think that is what the ad just showed the name as. Why are we calling it just Dart. Rmhermen (talk) 02:33, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

We're calling it Dart because it's called Dart. The two slash marks are not letters or Roman numerals…they're just slash marks. —Scheinwerfermann T·C02:47, 29 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

600 bhp 2.0 liter rally car engine?[edit]

Indy Cars make over 500 bhp using 2.2 liter ethanol engines, and there are a few 480 to 500 bhp gasoline engines, usually V8's. The 600 bhp gasoline engine DOES NOT EXIST, and this one's a 4 banger! 184.76.167.123 (talk) 23:23, 10 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Why is the new Dodge Dart separated from the old Dart?[edit]

I realize theyre completely different cars but they still have the same name plate.Teresa44 (talk) 13:29, 6 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Midsize[edit]

Yes, according to Dodge, the Dart is a midsize car, comparing with the Malibu, the Altima, Sonata, and Camry, so there's no way it compares with the Focus and Cruze. --166.137.191.48 (talk) 00:42, 24 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

New Picture[edit]

I believe it is time for a new title picture. The car had been available for quite some time now, and it should be easy to obtain a picture. The photo needs to look normal and not have any words written on the side unless it is absolutely necessary. In this case, it is definitely not necessary. Please submit candidates. Thank you.--Gg53000 (talk) 14:22, 26 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Moved from Dodge Dart (2013) to Dodge Dart (PF)[edit]

I moved the article from Dodge Dart (2013) to Dodge Dart (PF) per Wikipedia:WikiProject_Automobiles/Conventions#Article_titles, which says model codes are to be used before Year when disambiguating two models. VX1NG (talk) 21:30, 14 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If that's going to be added to the title, it should at least be explained somewhere on the page what PF means. As it is now it looks like some random vandalism. 74.36.170.168 (talk) 13:16, 14 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
