Update on Australian Release[edit]

An update on the Australian release from EB games is that it will be coming out May 2009. Here's a link:

Okay you need to add it in a reference template. Also, didn't you find it a little odd that your edits screwed up the infobox? Sarujo (talk) 01:35, 18 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah sorry about that. I din't know what went wrong so I thought I'd leave that to someone who knew what went wrong which would then fix it. --Victory93 (talk) 02:19, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It appears that the release date has been pushed back to some unspecified month. Sarujo (talk) 15:33, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm, I'm getting a nagging suspision that this game is not going to be released in Australia. I mean as I type there are only four months left this year and Raging Blast will be out soon. Now that I think about, it may just be more than just supision as the Dragon Ball licence has changed hands from Atari to Namco Bandai. So I guess, just remove the Austrailian mention from the article, if no one objects? Sarujo (talk) 00:19, 25 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merger?[edit]

Why is this article being proposed for merger? The only thing it's lacking is a development section, and I'm sure someone could come up with that. Other then that the article has enough to stand out on it's own. Sarujo (talk) 02:47, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

See here. The article is simply too similar to the other games, and any relavent information can be included in a merged article. DBZROCKSIts over 9000!!! 02:49, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
A lot of instalments in a video game series are simular, yet they have seperate articles. Besides the game is not that simular to the other three. Are you sugesting that the Budokai games contained a slew of mini games, and a color coded skill tray that required the play to set skills a certain way as apposed to just stacking them any which way but loose? Sarujo (talk) 03:10, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Those are minor differences, that can easily be covered in a merged article. Please respond on the merger discussion which can be found here. DBZROCKSIts over 9000!!! 19:29, 19 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Before I say my piece there or any decisions can be made, I ask to let me try and build this article. Sarujo (talk) 11:52, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

GA[edit]

I really want to push this and Burst Limit (Eventually) up to GA. But since I never achived this feat, I'm not sure what needs to be done. Kung Fu Man, you stated that what was need was "some refinement and a little more expansion". But I'm not if I follow. Could you be a little more specific. Are you just talking about the reception, or the article in general?

Also should I be looking for sourcing for the music section? Sarujo (talk) 21:39, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You should look for sourcing in the music section, as for other references, you will need to have more citations for the development and playable characters sections. Development and reception also need expansion. DBZROCKSIts over 9000!!! 20:25, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
As far as I know if there has not been more development info, its ok. The reception section could use the template for reviews.Tintor2 (talk) 20:55, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'm against using that template as it doesn't really add any value to the section, let alone the article. There was a discussion back in October of 2008, seen here, that talked about posibly removing it altogether. But honesty, just how many reviews is it going to take for that section to be declared full expanded? Sarujo (talk) 02:53, 2 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Most featured game articles include the template, as it allows an easy and concise summary of the reviews the title has been given. There is no max ammount of reviews, a section is reallly never "complete" all that is needed is just to add as many reliable reviews as possible, a few more should do the trick. DBZROCKSIts over 9000!!! 16:17, 2 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, I was told in a peer reviews that references with the same title should be added the name from the publishers to avoid being same. It would be like this "Metacritic: Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World". Good work in the article Sarujo.Tintor2 (talk) 00:20, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I forgot, the lead needs to be expanded to at least two paragraphs to give a short overview from the whole article per WP:Lead.Tintor2 (talk) 17:14, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Playable characters[edit]

I suggest that the section be merged with gameplay, or removed all together. This kind of section is usually a good idea in long series articles, where a playable characters table or such can be used, but here it seems that there is a significant lack of content for a section. DBZROCKSIts over 9000!!! 01:29, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That wasn't listed as a concern regarding the section when it was reviewed for GA, it was on the fact that it lacks sources. The official stratagy guide can be used for that. Besides listing every single character within the game comes off as game guide or game cruft. Sarujo (talk) 02:23, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly my point, there really isn't a need for characters to have their own section, especially when there isn't much to speak of in terms of difference between characters or why they were included. DBZROCKSIts over 9000!!! 02:26, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
