Stadium nickname(s)[edit]

I removed "The Dungeon" as the new stadium's nickname, as this does not appear to have been established. As far as potential nicknames go, we need to have these verified through a published source. Any takers? -- SwissCelt 06:38, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • There's actually a fairly big movement to make "The Dungeon" the new nickname for the stadium, but it largely exists on facebook, which I don't think we can cite as a source. Maybe the Central Florida Future mentioned it at some point, I'll see if I can find a reference (but personally, I think that if anything, the new Convocation Center should be the Dungeon as the successor to the Arena). I tried to add citation to "The Trampoline", but being the Wiki-Newbie that I am, I can't get the article to not be noted in the line. I apologize, and I hope no one thinks I'm trying to do anything unethical. Dahar81 Dahar81 20:45, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Attendance records[edit]

Why is the opponent team year in a number that may get the readers confused about what the score was? I think it should be changed. Robert4565 (talk) 19:38, 26 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Name[edit]

It must be renamed into Spectrum Stadium — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.109.85.105 (talk) 06:47, 13 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Not necessarily. They could keep the name, changed it to Bright House Spectrum Stadium, change it to Spectrum Stadium, or something completely different. Until it is announced, the article should keep the current name. Elisfkc (talk) 17:14, 13 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

So you can keep this name until Charter and UCF announced it and rename into Spectrum Stadium So do not edit the page until it moved — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:36d5:5690:ccca:f640:919b:730b (talkcontribs) 03:33, December 31, 2016 (UTC)

Not how Wikipedia works. Editing can still take place. Once the new name is announced, this entire page will be moved. Elisfkc (talk) 00:27, 3 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Elisfkc: when that name are no longer Bright House Networks Stadium for this Bright House Networks been bought by Charter Communications then at the start of 2017 FBS season the stadium will be renamed to Spectrum Stadium it sure this names in Charlotte this name Spectrum Center and Spectrum Field in Clearwater but sure can you request this move per WP:RM if necessary to request to this move please contact the author for this and request this move thank you 2607:FB90:4CED:435:408B:D3E3:E368:85BF (talk) 04:21, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Until the UCF athletic department says it is Spectrum Stadium, the article needs to stay as Bright House.Elisfkc (talk) 04:23, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
