Proposed merge with Ford F-550[edit]

The content for each Super Duty model isn't free-standing; the F-550 article is in need of updating SteveCof00 09:21, 7 July 2013 (UTC)

Do it. --Dana60Cummins (talk) 17:59, 7 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Still trying to figure out how to make this page just a little less of a mess, though. --SteveCof00 10:15, 28 September 2013 (UTC)

Transmission ratios for 2nd gen and later?[edit]

Missing data, needs to be here. I've been searching the web but have not been able to find it. Bizzybody (talk) 04:24, 14 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Article split?[edit]

To a point, the level of detail in this article could be considered unwieldy for viewers unfamiliar with vehicles and it also makes editing difficult. To preserve this content and allow for better editing, things may have reached the point where each generation of the Ford Super Duty can be split off into freestanding articles, with this page being the parent article (similar to Ford F-Series, Ford Taurus, and several other vehicles produced over multiple generations in both US and worldwide markets).

Thoughts? --SteveCof00 (talk) 10:04, 9 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

2nd and 3rd generations[edit]

The so-called "3rd generation" is really just a facelift of the 2nd generation. The taillights are the same and the front has changed minimally. Or maybe I am wrong and that they are two separate generations. 2601:246:CF00:3620:415A:E45D:AA70:485D (talk) 13:32, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Assembly plants[edit]

Recommend edit of assembly. P558 (2017-2022) and P708 (2023-) are also built at Ohio Assembly in Avon Lake, Ohio. (Chassis cab models) 2600:1009:B008:DFAF:B859:19AD:8598:8ED1 (talk) 10:16, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
