What are you playing at? I will not explain the importance of Gamespot, Eurogamer, Metro etc.

LEAVE THEM ALONE. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.64.25.36 (talk) 01:14, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I think this has already been explained to you several times, on the talk page of your old IP as well as the Project CARS 2 talk page. I'm not endorsing @Neverrainy's behavior, but he's (somewhat roboticly) following the established guidelines of the templates. Instead of trying to address those issues, you have been blanket reverting him across several articles. Your behavior is no more acceptable then his, as far as edit warring goes. I'll be issuing blocks on both of you if it continues. Two articles are now protected due to this. @Niche-gamer: Just as info and history, see Talk:Project CARS 2 and the previous IP 79.64.26.156 -- ferret (talk) 14:20, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Regardless of what has transpired before my arrival to this page, I have attempted to add reliably sourced content that does a more through job at summarizing the opinions of those quoted. Much better than full paragraph quotations, I hope you do agree. I also removed Car magazine because guidelines say we should use the most popular and influential game publications when available. — Niche-gamer 14:36, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

To add, I also temporarily removed a passage from Gamespot because they have not reviewed the game at the present time (they are not publishing their review until November). The quoted passage came from their preview. Looking at Metacritic, I predict this game will receive around another 25 reviews yet, with several big name publications yet to offer their opinion (Polygon, Destructoid, Edge magazine etc). — Niche-gamer 14:56, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
From the template: "Consider coverage from outside traditional video games media. High quality sources such as The New York Times, Wired, and the BBC do not cater to a "gamer" audience, but may on occasion cover video games. Wikipedia is both a generalist and specialist encyclopedia. Opinions from these sources may be more accessible to a non-gamer audience and place the subject in a greater cultural and societal context than is possible at a narrowly focused video gaming publication." With a technical genre like this, motoring magazines are therefore more valid that a games magazine, because the gaming reviewer may not even have a driving licence, so is in no position to comment on the realism of the handling. I will be reintroducing the content from Cars magazine.

Gameplay[edit]

Whoever wrote the first three sentences of the section titled "Gameplay" obviously has absolutely NO IDEA of what this game is all about. 94.226.77.83 (talk) 23:46, 23 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

GT Sport main series?[edit]

Gran Turismo Sport is apparently considered the main series, even though it's supposedly a Concept/Prologue. Does anyone have source if the developers consider it as a main series or not? 24.42.2.106 (talk) 18:15, 21 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

it's not a part of the main series. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.130.158.236 (talk) 21:24, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
