Not to be mean but....[edit]

is this really notable? i mean it's a fan film!--75.72.25.219 (talk) 01:47, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Many fan/short films make it to Wikipedia. I think 3 million hits and an official 'endorsement' by Valve make it notable enough. TigerTails (talk) 22:39, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think this was a great film but it doesn't deserve it's own page beyond cultural impact. This film was a great achievement for PurchaseBrothers but this doesn't belong in an encyclopedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Foozy101 (talkcontribs) 05:47, 10 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Guerrilla style"[edit]

Perhaps it should be noted that the film was "Filmed guerilla style."? - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1UPMEmCqZo —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.205.198.49 (talk) 00:20, 30 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

THIS MUST BE DELTED[edit]

This is not notable, and does not warrent its own page. It should be mentioned in cultural impact of Half-Life, at BEST. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.189.130.29 (talk) 23:32, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

While it may be a fan made short, it is INDEED notable. Mainly due to the fact that it is quite literally (to my knowledge) the best received video game movie of any sort. Generally game movies are seen as failures, while two guys with such a small budget have even beat out the full-length movies known in the mainstream business. It was one of the few video game films that even the publisher praised it. Halofanatic333 (talk) 15:24, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously Incomplete[edit]

This article is missing a lot of information.

  • Summary on the top.
  • Synopsis: Part Two.
  • The development sections.

What it needs:

  • Cite the AFI video interview with David & Ian Purchase.
  • Ask the Purchase Brothers themselves for assistance.

Thank you for reading--and heeding--this important topic.

Sincerely--Player017 (talk) 08:24, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
