Probably one of the most underrated receivers of our era. He probably would've gone down as one of the all-time greats if he had played for better teams.

Only twice ('88, '89) did he play for a bona-fide top passing offense. He led the league in receiving in '88 and was near the top in '89. Had he played for a team like, say, the 49ers, he would've been able to put up unreal numbers.

Not known as a TD scorer (only 65 in his career), partly due to playing for weak teams. But he was particularly adept at moving chains; the vast majority of his receptions were for first downs.
