Defensive line captain?[edit]

I don't know a lot about who gets to be captain on teams, but it seems odd that a LB would be defensive line captain, especially since the Steelers don't use the 3-4 or 46 defense a lot (from what I've seen) -VetteDude 22:10, 23 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What are you talking about? The Steelers have used the 3-4 for years, because one of the main strengths of the team is always its Linebackers.

Career[edit]

Nearly this whole article is on controversies (many obscure and without reference), and not a peep on his eight seasons in the NFL so far? --Ccoolidge 00:44, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

The beauty of Wikipedia is that you can fix that problem yourself! Write the section and cite your sources per the attribution policy. Thanks for helping out! —Elipongo (Talk|contribs) 01:23, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You guys are fast. Joey Porter punched that OT TODAY and it's already here. 71.60.93.115 02:16, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fight with Levi Jones, as well as other controversies[edit]

Why is this not mentioned here? It is definitely notable and people may come to this page looking for information about the incident. If I'm not mistaken, it used to be on here. Why was it removed, as it looks like someone could have been biased in removing that, sa well as pretty much every other controversy he has been involved in thoughout his career. Overall, a terrible article written by fans of Porter who must think he is a great man who should not be besmirched with stories regarding his idiotic behaviour. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.26.57.164 (talk) 22:26, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
