Split[edit]

Date of Birth[edit]

This article contains conflicting date of birth information. Side bar claims 1 June 1982, "Tennis Career" section claims 1 July 1983. I've no idea which is correct, but perhaps someone can resolve the conflict? Microfluid (talk) 02:50, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of duplicate sections[edit]

In the current article, there is a section "Return" which is being extended with new achievements of Justine Henin. But there are also other sections which also cover the same material. This makes many sections having the duplicate material for her return and her 2010 achievements. I suggest that duplicate sections be removed. SaturnineMind (talk) 11:01, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

equipment section is missing[edit]

Henin or Hénin?[edit]

What first raised alarm bells for me was the listed pronunciation of Henin. Spelt without an accent, her name would not contain the French /e/ sound. Looking at the article for the surname Henin, most examples are of Hénin. Perhaps more confusingly, a number of French and English sources use Justine Hénin. But I think far and away it's spelled Henin. Also, all of those sources you listed are from when she was married and going by Henin-Hardenne... so they don't help us much. Do we have her signature sourced anywhere? Fyunck(click) (talk) 03:37, 5 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I checked... her personal website spells it Henin, her twitter account spells it Henin, her facebook account spells it Henin, and her tennis club spells it Henin. This one is case closed. Fyunck(click) (talk) 03:54, 5 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

In English, how it's pronounced and how it's spelled are two entirely different things. You can spell your name Fred and pronounce it as Mary if you like. I always pronounce her name as EN-ah but spell it Henin. Fyunck(click) (talk) 04:51, 5 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
