This is just a concrete horror, and it should be demolished, not protected. Someone should start a campaign to stop ugly modern buildings infiltrating the listed buildings register. Casperonline 15:16, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I'm sure the 20th Century Society would disagree with you... But in any case, this talk page is for discussing the Wikipedia article, not the merits of modern architecture. Cheers, DWaterson 21:50, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps someone should start a campaign to keep this sort of ill-considered, philistine rubbish off every Wiki talk page about a significant modern building.FrFintonStack (talk) 22:53, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Falling through the bridge[edit]

I have removed a statement that Tom Joyce fell through the bridge as unsourced. The citation given (minutes of the meeting of Durham Students Union Council held 18 February 1998) mentione neither Joyce nor the word "bridge". I'm also deleting the InternetArchiveBot report from the talk page for the same reason. Martin of Sheffield (talk) 15:57, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
