Share Price under Criticism?[edit]

Why is share price listed under criticism? If it mentioned somebody arguing that the stock is overvalued that would at least make sense, but that isn't mentioned in the article at all. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2a01:cb1c:465:8600:f007:f611:1382:912d (talk) 19:49, 26 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Santa and the flying bunnies disguised as reindeer[edit]

Has anyone else had a moment of cognitive dissonance seeing the Christmas 2021 Lindt chocolate Santa and “reindeer” pulling Santa’s sleigh? Apparently Lindt had leftover Easter bunnies, who they’ve dressed up in reindeer costumes for the new season. Actually - it would be great to know why a company with somewhere around $4.5B in revenue can’t have chocolate that looks like deer instead of old bunnies. I’ve rejected a friend’s hypothesis that the chocolate deer went on strike, so Lindt decided to use rabbits as scabs (aka “scabbits”). * Does anyone know the real reason why Lindt did this? 2600:1700:D3B0:2240:E82F:8203:67EE:C210 (talk) 01:06, 17 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Inaccuracies[edit]

there seems to be a lot of missing information like Perrier once owned Lindt? [1]Davidstewartharvey (talk) 19:24, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Be BOLD and make the corrections. You're doing half of it already. Seasider53 (talk) 19:53, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm too busy re-writing Cavenham Foods which is why I found out about Perrier, who they had negotiations with (not sure if anything come if them still searching). Davidstewartharvey (talk) 20:42, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Page mentioned on Jim Cornette podcasts[edit]

First mention[edit]

This article was mentioned on The Jim Cornette Experience- https://www.jimcornette.com/podcasts.html Episode #501 "Which Side Do You Want To Be On?" (at approximately 29 minute mark). Regular listener John Fell of Baltimore reported being dismissed along with 300 colleague by video call. Cornette and co-host Brian Last encouraged listeners to visit this page and add this information - several IP editors have alredy done so.Romomusicfan (talk) 09:32, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If editors wish to discuss use of Cornette's podcasts as a source for this it could possibly be reinput as referenced content. I leave this open to discussion for fellow editors.Romomusicfan (talk) 09:43, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
In this episode, Cornette directly incites listeners to edit this Wikipedia article and add information related to the names mentioned above. Besides being canvassing, this is a clear biographies of living persons policy violation, Cornette's podcast not considered a reliable or independent source (and my reasonable search finding no other coverage meeting reliable sources policy). Even IF the source was better, this apparent Lindt personnel issue doesn't seem to have gotten much media attention other than Cornette's. It's not due for inclusion. Most importantly, the BLP policy explicitly authorizes any editor to immediately remove any such contentious material about a living subject without reliable sourcing. I have semi-protected the page for now. Anyone who wants this material included may make their case here. BusterD (talk) 01:18, 3 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that was the idea of this thread - better have them discussing it here than doing stuff to the page. Jim Cornette is not a Wikipedia editor so perhaps it's going over the top to accuse him of being a canvasser/ BLP violator - he and Brian merely made some facetious remarks on his podcast which some listeners inevitably took literally. and again on the next week's podcast[edit]

Hello Jim and Brian, thanks for the followup (Episode #502: "Jim Reviews AEW WrestleDream") where you discouraged users from doing things to the page leading to it being protected. Glad this edit brought you some amusement, although I doubt the Lindt executives saw it as it was only up for about 34 minutes around 6am UK time (which is 7am in Switzerland). Glad to hear Jim's cousin Larry is getting better.Romomusicfan (talk) 10:08, 5 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
