I'm not sure this list is a good idea. It seems to me that it will become unwieldy, hard to define (what is a "vegetable dish" anyways? Can it include meat? If so, how much?), and is not very useful. Lists by ingredient seem more natural, such as List of banana dishes. Brianyoumans (talk) 02:57, 12 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I've added inclusion criteria to the lead, "This list includes dishes in which the main ingredient or one of the essential ingredients is a vegetable or vegetables." NorthAmerica1000 03:21, 12 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
