Comments (apologies for the delay)

  • Is Juan Ramon notable?
    • Well he had two songs that ranked on the Latin Songs in the US. Don't know if that helps.
      • If this makes him notable enough for an article then I suggest he's, at the least, red-linked. The Rambling Man (talk) 07:54, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • "The song speaks of a failed relationship where the protagonist gave the best they could in spite of not meeting the lover's expectations" not great, can we copyedit this? Is it the singer himself who is the protagonist? Should it be "their lover's"?
    • Yes, the singer is the protagonist.
  • Consider linking "covered" appropriately.
    •  Done
  • First line of background is strikingly similar to the first line of the lead, can we have some more imagination...
  • As does the second line...
  • "Musically, the song is performed under the style of bolero music" reads poorly, "musically ... music"? You mean "The song is performed in the bolero style"?
    •  Done
  • "reached number-one on" not sure that needs to be hyphenated.
    •  Done
  • "Year-end charts" table, the "Chart (1998)" heading shouldn't sort.
    •  And fixed it to have two seperate tables
  • Ref 15, 16 etc, be consistent with linking of publisher, billboard etc.
    •  Removed overlinking (aside from templates)
  • Ref 18 compared with the others, don't mix access date or publication date styles.
    •  What was I thinking? I clearly need to pay attention more often.

I'll put this on hold for the time being. The Rambling Man (talk) 14:42, 13 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, I'll take care of the remaining issues as well soon. Erick (talk) 21:49, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
