Why does it need an article?[edit]

Why does Madden NFL 06 need it's own article? I don't see an article on Madden NFL 05 or Madden NFL 07. Someone please clarify this. Thanks. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Footballrocks41237 (talkcontribs) date.

These games each have their own entry. I agree that it's unneeded, as the info is also listed on the franchise's page, but at least now it's consistent. 148.100.218.180 (talk) 19:03, 24 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Trivia comment[edit]

From the Trivia Section:

"John Madden calls the Pro Bowl game, when in reality he does not fly so it is impossible for him to get to Hawaii and call the game."

It is not impossible for him to get to Hawaii. A plane is not the only means of transportation with which he can get to Hawaii. He could easily take a boat. While this would take longer, it is possible. On these grounds, I am removing this from the trivia. JTConroy88 20:42, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Maddenqbvision.jpg[edit]

Image:Maddenqbvision.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Is this the first Madden game not to feature John Madden on the cover? --Mika1h (talk) 13:23, 18 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, but you can hear him in each Madden game. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.10.125.238 (talk) 14:58, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ummm... Madden NFL 2001 was the first, but since this was 2 years ago, I'm pretty sure you should know by now. Zappa (talk) 03:15, 16 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
