Inclusion of future films in lead

Krimuk2.0, what's the reasoning behinding not including Asteroid City in the lead? I think it's lead-worthy that she will be collaborating with a notable director like Wes Anderson. I would also like to add Barbie, but I'll hold out for this discussion. ~ HAL333 14:23, 18 May 2023 (UTC)

How do you know an unreleased film will be notable in her career? Plus, there is no information as yet on what role she will play in Asteroid City. Krimuk2.0 (talk) 15:04, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
It's very common to list major upcoming roles in filmographies and the biographies of actors. It's a major role and it's not simply a cameo. Per Variety: "The film’s main cast includes Margot Robbie, Tom Hanks, Hong Chau and Scarlett Johansson." Note how they list Robbie first, contrary to alphabetical order. If a notable topic in the body of the list, it's WP:DUE to include it in the lead. ~ HAL333 22:08, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
There’s no reason not to wait until the film is released and it can be better determined how notable it would be. I will note that Robbie didn’t even appear in the trailer for the film, so we have no idea how prominent her role will be (it could very well be a cameo). I do find it somewhat hilarious that a user who removed many previous legitimate credits because they don’t meet his standards of inclusion is now trying to include a film not even released yet. The ownership is quite astounding. Rcarter555 (talk) 06:53, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
The incivility isn't needed, Rcarter555. And I do not edit according to my standards. I edit according to the standards of Wikipedia. ~ HAL333 17:01, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
You edit based on YOUR INTERPRETATION of Wikipedia standards, which I find very suspect. But your obsessive ownership over this particular article eventually made me just give up trying to keep this article accurate. Sorry if that seems uncivil, it is in fact, the truth. Rcarter555 (talk) 18:07, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
Rcarter555 is right. And when there is a discussion about an issue on talk, wait for consensus to form before doing this. That's the "standards of Wikipedia". Krimuk2.0 (talk) 17:46, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
Krimuk, are you opposed to Barbie's inclusion? Per your reasoning, we can't include Asteroid City as it is unclear whether it will be a major role. She is the lead actor of Barbie and there is tremendous coverage in RS. ~ HAL333 21:06, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
So let it release and see how it has been received. What's the hurry? Krimuk2.0 (talk) 06:12, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
