Yesterday, I made the exact same pace on a Dutch wikipedia site. My article was removed within 24 hours, because I wrote it in English. Today, I reposted my article on a English Wikipedia page, so I hope it will not get removed again. Hoever, the odd thing is that when I search on the Dutch Google for "Material Passport", I don't get a hit on the English page of my article. I only find the record of the removed page on the Dutch Wikipedia page. How so? Michelandreas (talk) 09:49, 2 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Last week I got a message that I have to improve this page in order not to be deleted. So, I hope someone can control if this page is correct for now?

It takes about a week or so for search engines to change and it may appear then. However, I have tagged this as promotional and may be deleted soon because there's nothing particularly convincing and instead looks like a travel guide or otherwise how-to. I would suggest adding only the basic and necessary information and no "Advantages and Disadvantages" sections and anything else that belongs at a travel guide or information source, instead of an encyclopedia. Projects - is it useful (I don't think so) to list under 2 subheadings, namely NL and EU[edit]

For this webpage, Material passport, there is a section called Projects.

Its two current subheadings are NL (for Netherlands) and EU (for European Union).

I suggest deletion of these subheadings and combination of the bullet points all together, alphabetically.

The Netherlands is obviously in the EU anyway, so duplication/ redundancy. Also, it is not clear why a geography needs to be used in the first place.

I suggest that the simpler and better solution is not to have geographical subheadings here, and that they be deleted. RobertoFanfuli (talk) 11:00, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

After detailing this suggested change here on Talk and getting no responses to my proposed change over a 13 days period, I have now implemented the change in the absence of any dissenting voices to it, Roberto Fanfuli RobertoFanfuli (talk) 16:06, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Produce traceability/ Digital Product Passport[edit]

At the bottom of this page there is a heading for See Also. Under that there is a link to Digital Product Passport which redirects to the Produce traceability page on Wikipedia, instead.Produce traceability - Wikipedia

I suggest that a page should be developed for Digital Product Passport - I assume that there is no such page? I cannot see one. Such a page would easily, IMHO, meet the notability test.

And that a link should also be provided directly and explicitly (i.e. named as such) to Produce traceability - Wikipedia

I also note that there is a bullet point near the top of this page for "Product passport" (with a citation but no onward Wikipedia link). This is similar to Digital Product Passport in name and in meaning. Some tidying up to do here, I suggest.

Thoughts? Many thanks, Roberto RobertoFanfuli (talk) 09:10, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
