Redundant trivia?[edit]

Does anyone find the trivia-section's mention on which hand Mega Man's arm-cannon is on a little redundant? It's commonly accepted that he can fire from either arm, the only place where this isn't the case is the American cartoon where he always fired with his left hand, but since the cartoon isn't canon it has no bearing in the issue. The trivia isn't incorrect however so I'm not sure if I should remove it. (user:HannuMakinen)

I found it interesting. And I don't see it repeating another part of the article so it can't be redundant. Leave it.--Iamstillhiro1112 16:25, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cameos[edit]

Is it worth noting that this game shows every Robot Master to that point in time? (The Masters from MM1 and Roll are shown during the epilogue, and the rest of them are fought throughout the game).24.78.106.19 01:08, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mechanical Maniacs?[edit]

Is that link really necessary? I mean it's just a fan team. Bassium! —The preceding signed but undated comment was added at 03:26, August 26, 2007 (UTC).

Super Jump and other 2P tricks[edit]

Should this article mention the "cheats" accessible through the use of a controller in the second player slot? scroll to the bottom Kouban (talk) 03:46, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, Wikipedia is not a game guide.--SeizureDog (talk) 17:42, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Manual errors[edit]

Does the fact that the manual for this game contains numerous factual errors due to simply repeating information from the Megaman 2 manual bear mention in this article? Kouban (talk) 14:48, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Robot Masters[edit]

I've started a discussion about including Robot Masters in Mega Man articles at the Video Game project talk page. If you have an opinion, please remark here. Lumaga (talk) 06:26, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Other Platforms[edit]

Apparently this game has also been released for DOS. Also, shouldn't it be mentioned on all of the Mega Man games that they were released as part of the Anniversary Collection? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Belasted (talkcontribs) 23:14, 29 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tracklist removal[edit]

I removed the tracklist for the so-called "original soundtrack" because there was never an original soundtrack released for this game. The only music officially released for this game is the "Capcom Music Generation Famicom Music Complete Works Rockman 1~6" released by Capcom on the Suleputer label, and the names here didn't even correspond with the names listed there.

The track names aren't anything you couldn't guess just by listening to the track, so rather than pretend there has been a special release for this game's music, I think it's best just to remove the listing entirely.

    Pass/Fail:

A very nice article, my only concern is that the second paragraph under Development doesn't flow very well; it's a bit choppy and jumps from fact to fact, making it difficult to read/follow. Is there anything that can be done to improve that?

Other than that, this article is more than ready for GA status. I'll be checking this page at least daily, unless something comes up, so you can be sure I'll notice any comments left here. Canadian Paul 16:49, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've attempted to fix the flow as you've suggested. Let me know if this works. ~ Hibana (talk) 11:11, 4 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Much better and now an obvious pass for GA, which I will do right now. Congratulations and thank you for your hard work! Canadian Paul 16:06, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
