Name dropping[edit]

Too many other artists names, esp. in the lede, and his influences. (mercurywoodrose)99.101.137.9 (talk) 01:24, 11 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yow.[edit]

"He has been compared to Bill Withers, Randy Newman, Terry Callier, and Otis Redding, as well as [to] Van Morrison and the Temptations."

Very exciting - and all within the space of three weeks!

I'm as impressed by the success of a young artist as much as the next person, but this article seems a little more than modestly choked with hyperbole.

Aside from this, what can this sentence mean:

"In June 2012, [Kiwanuka] was illustrated in a BBC article regarding Spain vis-à-vis Uganda during the Eurozone crisis; his putative counterpart was actress Penélope Cruz."

Did a pictorial representation of Mr. Kiwanuka appear in a BBC article? In what way did this article concern Spain? Since June of 2012 occurred after 2010 and before now, is it particularly interesting to describe the indicated BBC article as having appeared "during the Eurozone Crisis", considering that any article on any topic in any venue during this period could be described this way? How was this BBC article "vis-à-vis Uganda"? How is Spain in any way "vis-à-vis Uganda"? How is or was Mr. Kiwanuka a "counterpart" to Penélope Cruz, "putatively" or otherwise? What has Ms. Cruz to do with any world financial monetary dispute, specifically? Is Ms. Cruz a "counterpart" of anything, with respect to birthplace? What has Uganda got to do with European monetary policy? I an at sea. Rt3368 (talk) 09:40, 11 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Song on movie soundtrack[edit]

He also has a song called "No More Running" on the soundtrack from A Long Way Down (film). Should that be added to the "singles" section or somewhere else? Gmporr (talk) 12:55, 6 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
