There's a BUNCH more stuff on Mr. Oher on LexisNexis, if someone with free access feels like having a look. GPA[edit]

From Article 25 Jan 2010 : " Oher eventually brought his 0.6 grade point average up to a 2.52 GPA by the end of his senior year, by becoming a 'B' grade student. This brought his GPA up to 2.05, which he then was able to raise above a 2.65, so he could attend a NCAA Division 1 school by enrolling in some 10-day-long Internet-based character courses from Brigham Young University. This was allowed to replace Ds and Fs earned in school classes such as English with As earned in Internet courses.[4] This finally raised his graduating GPA over the required limit.[5]"

Incorrect statement[edit]

This sentence is not accurate: "His life prior to college is one of the subjects of Michael Lewis's 2006 book, The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game and the subject of the 2009 film The Blind Side."

father not killed in prison / birthday possibly not correct[edit]

Oher's father was not killed in prison. The referenced source (the Lewis article in the New York Times Magazine) says that the father was "shot and killed and thrown off a bridge." A police officer, featured in this tv news report: http://www.myfoxmemphis.com/story/21548890/who-killed-michael-williams-on-easter-sunday indicates that the father suffered a severe beating saying "you can tell by the blows to the head that those would have been fatal blows."

Bias Research[edit]

From reading these Wikipedia entries someone is trying to discredit Micheal's legal challenges via slanted these entries. Granted these incidents may have happened on his life but what baring would it have on a dedicated researcher. Adoption translates to inheritance rights in U.S.[edit]
