Talk:Oak Lodge School

I have started this long-overdue page as Oak Lodge School is a unique school for a number of reasons and so is worthy of its own entry.

As well as being one of the very small number of Secondary Schools for deaf children in the UK, it has a number of interesting features. One is the importance given to sign language in the school, another is is growth from a straightforward school into a multi-service campus, the school focuses on deaf children with additional needs and is very sucessful with them.

There is a lot of information on the school webstie, the Ofsted report and Wandsworth Council's website that could be successfully incorporated into this page (along with many other sources) [obviously in accordance with relevant copyright guidelines, etc]. Support from others in editing, adding to and improving this page is essential.

This is my first wikipedia page, so all help and comments appreciated! Mr S Shields, Teaching Assistant and Deputy Child Welfare Officer, Oak Lodge School. Zctyp18 (talk) 15:40, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
