Flag[edit]

Should his flag be Haiti or America's? From my understanding he's born in America and is an American citizen, so unless there's something I missing, it shouldn't he Haiti's flag displayed on his fight records with other fighters.PEiP (talk) 05:31, 21 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Shoulder choke vs. Von Flue choke[edit]

change to Von Flue choke[edit]

@Cassiopeia:@BrineStans: I considered waiting to open this discussion until I finished all 4 tables, but I decided to do it anyway. To be honest I don't see why I do have to create 4 separate tables for each result, as you could assume just by one table that the other 3 would be nearly identical, but it is what it is I suppose. I think this first table reflects a pretty clear consensus for "Von Flue choke" over Sherdog's "Shoulder Choke" and the others "Von Preux choke" in the fight with Oleksiejczuk.

But of course this is a discussion, so discuss we will!

I don't see how that's a relevant point to keep the results as they are. Sherdog is the minority here, and it is considered less reliable than ESPN and other reliable sources, so there really isn't a reason to keep the result as is. Why should we ignore the majority? Both names are technically correct, but "Von Flue choke" is more recognizable and more widely used, it's a no brainer to me. ♡RAFAEL♡(talk) 15:29, 20 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
