Notability[edit]

Some sources about the dismissal and links to the shaming http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=727069 http://www.jodysgarage.com/dook2.htm (second link shows actual photos including male genitals) I don't know how to add them into inline citations.

On what basis is Reggie Love not notable? I don't want to bring up false comparisons like fictional TV characters, but why is he less notable than, say, Kris Engskov? If anything, his status as a 2-sport athlete at Duke and membership on the national championship squad there makes him MORE notable - he's enjoying his second act on the public stage.

A feature article in the NYT seems to pass the bar for notability, IMO.

Note that Love was already noted on two seperate wikipedia articles - the 2001 Duke team article and the article on body men. I simply hotlinked existing text.

I'm not implying this article, as it stands, is anything more than a stub. But it clearly seems like a worthy subject for an article. - Atarr (talk) 21:53, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fictional character[edit]

A female lawyer of the same name is one of the main characters of a novel by John Grisham, The Client. The character is played by Susan Sarandon in the movie. I wonder if this is worth mentioning, here or somewhere else. fudo (questions?) 21:44, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No it isn't. -Branddobbe (talk) 14:19, 7 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Original article by anonymous IP stated June 21, 1981, an anonymous edit earlier today changed this to April 29, 1983. Does anyone have a reliable source we could quote for this? Gareth Jones (talk) 16:25, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Changed to correct DOB, as stated by Politico and what I assume is Mr. Love himself a couple comments above.Koothrappali (talk) 09:38, 1 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Bad Data[edit]

"his college team lost the first 22 games of his career." I doubt Duke has ever lost 22 games in a row.Bill Harshaw (talk) 21:54, 30 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Removing "bad data"[edit]

I find no evidence that the above statement about losing the first 22 games is true. The linked references are either dead or do not address this. I am removing this. Please fell free to re-add this information with appropriate referencing.— ERcheck (talk) 13:37, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
