Robert Hudson of Teddington[edit]

There are numerous Robert Hudsons of the period. "Robert Hudson of Teddington" who died 1779 might be a match for the younger Robert Hudson, East India Company captain and director, mentioned [1] note, who also died 1779. But the death date given at commons:File:St Mary's church, Teddington, Vault with coat of arms.jpg of 8 September differs from the EIC Hudson's death date 9 August. So it is a stretch.

There are perhaps three generations of Robert Hudsons of Teddington. There are two generations of Robert Hudsons of Tadworth Court. Those have gentry connections. There is an examiner (of correspondence) East India Company Robert Hudson who comes up in the Warren Hastings trial. Perhaps none of these is helpful with the background of Captain Robert Hudson of this article. Charles Matthews (talk) 05:18, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Maximilian Richard Kymer (c.1790-1854)[edit]

He was the son of John Kymer of Streatham.[2] Likely the Kymers were business associates of the Borradailes. So it is also likely that the John Kymer involved in rice imports from Bengal is this one.

He married Mary Clagett of Lambeth in 1809. Charles Matthews (talk) 11:30, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
