Does anyone know if this is being involved in the 02 branding of all Carling Academy venues? They're the new sponsor, but the empire doesn't actually say anything on it about Carling, does it? Shepherds Bush Empire is now known as the 02 Shepherds Bush Empire. The Empire was previously sponsored by Carling, and belongs to the same company as Brixton Academy, Islington Academy etc. It just never had the 'Academy' name and kept its original Empire name instead, so people often dont realise they are related.

Maybe there should be something mentioning the transition to 02 in this article..? The official opening was on feb 18th 2009, on the evening of the Coldplay/ Killers War Child show. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Alskar (talk • contribs) 14:32, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

O2 Shepherds Bush Empire → Shepherds Bush Empire – I believe this venue is more commonly known (WP:COMMONNAME) without the "O2" prefix, particularly as it's gone by the same name for over 100 years.
