Titles[edit]

Does the musical term in the title considered as a sentence with the rest ? It sounds more like it that the terms are sepparated. So for instance:

  • Prelude - Aka no Seirei : Prelude - the crimson spirit
  • Operette - Mitsumeru Seirei : Operette - the spirit who watches
  • Polka - Umi no Soko no Wasuremono : Polka - thing left in the bottom of the sea

Dirranne's instrument[edit]

Rather than piano, it looks more like a Keytar, observing the position which it is hold seems more like a guitar. Usually it seems to have only one set of keyboards, but there are guitars with two or more set of strings anyway.

Ya it does look like a keytar. 66.183.215.186 12:01, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Other[edit]

Just a thought, but maybe we should change "Corty" to "Corti" ? Yoshi 02:06, 25 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you there.

An article. I can't find information about the instrument in Wikipedia. http://www1.cuny.edu/portal_ur/news/cuny_matters/july_2003/virtual.html The instrument is called Sinfonia, like the title of the last episode. And also, there are device (and the creator) named Theremin, which probably is the correct romanization for name of the researched in the last two episodes.202.169.33.251 08:03, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Seprate article for the characters[edit]

I am thinking of adding all the characters from the anime that appeared in each episode and all the characters from other series, but it looks like it will be too big to fit in the main article. Anyone want to help me? Shadic189 12:01, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'll try. 66.183.215.186 12:01, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ready or not I made it haha. Shadic189 03:33, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Title translation.[edit]

Does the title translate to something like: "Holy Melody Polyphonica"? -- Psi edit 14:00, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, Shinkyoku = Holy Melody, Sōkai = Composing World (?) Polyphonica = Polyphonica. So it would be Holy Melody Composing World Polyphonica? Not sure how to translate Sōkai. 66.183.215.186 00:19, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The kanji Kanade (奏で) can also be translated into "to play (instrument)", or maybe "to perform (music)". I personally takes it as the Polyphonica, world that played holy melody, or in the meaning a world in where the holy song is performed. 202.169.33.251 07:50, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The second one is right. Polyphoinca is the world. 66.183.215.186 23:34, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Summary of the Crimson Series Visual Novel[edit]

I've just started Polyphonica anime, but to my surprise, it turns out that the anime isn't really an adaptation of the crimson series visual novel, but instead, it takes place after the visual novel, where now Phoron and Corti are living some peaceful live and graduated from Commandia school... So I was just wondering, do you guys think it'd be good to include a summary of the crimson series visual novel? I am not sure how long it could turn out, but it'll take at least several paragraphs, and I'd probably define a few new terms, etc. But ultimately I am just wondering if anyone's interested. The story's pretty good actually, I find it kinda sad that they didn't retell the story... --Depthcharge101 (talk) 04:43, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Seprate article for Episodes list[edit]

Well since there'll be a second season, I think the episodes list should be moved into another article. Can somebody do it? (75.157.130.116 (talk) 10:33, 4 January 2009 (UTC))[reply]
