Bad... Animals?[edit]

How the heck does that belong in this article? SOme of them aren't even Antagonists! The two who traded the bomb for the Ruby? SUre, they're criminals, but not antagonists. I'm taking the section off until someone states otherwise. Abby724 18:09, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup...[edit]

I'm cleaning this article up. Going to take off some POV, merging some sections, yeah. Abby724 18:10, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

New features[edit]

I just dumped a large amount of text into the New Features section. Feel free to slim down the section as needed.Zeketheo 23:14, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Location Clean Up.[edit]

I'm going to clean up the location section. It seems to be more of an account of what happend rather that a description of the actual location. I've already finished a few, and I'll try to get the rest later.Zeketheo 08:00, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

personal opinions on the updated 3D models[edit]

Frankly, I think the mouth joint control of the new Sly 3D model is very reminsent of Will Forte. Heck, the face looks a bit similar to Will. --Jack Zhang 07:08, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Minor edit[edit]

"The game to most fans seem to be a pinnacle in the Sly trilogy, as the game has better replay value and longer episodes. Some say the games Sly 2, and 3 took a new genre in open-ended gaming." While I personally agree with the statements, don't these sentences seem POV - they are certainly unsourced. 1337wesm 00:11, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not really(i dint revert someone else did). Because it projects the POV of many. Its not like: It is the best sly game. Its saying many woould say this is the pinnacle.

Fair use rationale for Image:Sly-2-band-of-thieves.jpg[edit]

Image:Sly-2-band-of-thieves.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This has been fixed. --MASEM 05:48, 24 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reception[edit]

I removed an out-of-place score from IGN in the introduction and put it in a new section for reception. I think this would be good to show the quality of the game from the perspective of more than one site/magazine. Please add more as desired. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.117.41.179 (talk) 02:49, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Glitches section out of control[edit]

OK, folks, I don't know if we need the glitches section at ALL, since Wikipedia is not a game guide, but if we do, this is getting completely out of control. Some of the "glitches" listed are more trivia than glitches, and the section is completely out of proportion with the rest of the article. Unless someone can give me a reason to keep it by this time tomorrow, I'm gonna just remove the entire section. Anyone? Rdfox 76 (talk) 23:05, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. I don't think any of it's necessary, really. BlueCanary9999 (talk) 02:14, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Game engine revification[edit]

Can someone give a source detailing how the original game's engine was modified for this one?

Preview in Ratchet and Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal[edit]

Shouldn't it be mentioned that a demo of "Sly 2" was included in "Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal"?

  • Yep, I already knew that so I'm going to add that. Iamcool234 23:14, 26 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Kiss of the Spider Woman Reference[edit]

In the cutscene before the 5th episode begins, there is a section in which Sly mentions the Clockwerk Eyes. Somewhere around that point in the video, there is a shot of the Contessa, backlit and with webs silhouetted behind her. This is almost definitely a nod to the movie poster of Kiss of the Spider Woman, which fits the Contessa well due to her nature. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.72.50.12 (talk) 00:11, 17 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
