Would you people stop restoring vandalism?[edit]

An anon has been vandalizing a few articles overnight, and I fixed this one up. Two users have reverted this article back to the vandalized state. Besides being obvious baloney, the anon gave two fake references, for crying out loud. 73.81.124.122 (talk) 14:54, 5 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Tam Allen[edit]

I checked the Cohen source, it says Tam Allen, and uses the pronoun "she". Cohen references the Sept 24, 1979 issue of Village Voice, but a search at its website for "Tarzoon" turned up nothing. Can somebody access that issue?

I also found a more recent source that refers to Tam Allen. It gives the same money quote, but it also gives a different NYT quotation, so I don't think the author did a cheap cut-and-paste.

For the editor who worked with "Tom Allen", well that's nice. But it's not acceptable on WP.

Curiously enough, the Cohen book went on to credit Shapiro with discovering Tim Allen (ten years later). 73.81.122.198 (talk) 22:50, 7 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
