I'll conduct the review of this article. Seattle (talk) 13:42, 5 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • No dead links, file checks out in terms of copyright.
  • steered their boat into a moored barge can you link "barge"?
    • Funnily enough, I took a look at the article to make sure it was a universal (or near-enough universal) word, and saw American barges and British barges and thought "nah, no need to link", but linked anyway. The Rambling Man (talk) 06:31, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Rankov had left the university after completing his studies so it would have no impact on this year's race. perhaps a rewrite here, cut "so" and use a semi-colon. When I first read the sentence I interpreted "so it would have no impact" to mean that he left specifically left so that it wouldn't have an impact on the race.
    • I've reworded, not exactly as you suggested, but hopefully it's clearer? The Rambling Man (talk) 06:31, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Originally scheduled to take place on the Saturday can you give the month and day here as well?
  • Oxford's crew contained two Canadian brothers (the Evans twins, Mark and Michael), two Australians and an American cox No Americans on the Oxford side
  • The lead states both crews beat the existing course record. I think Oxford's time should be included in the "race" section if they also broke the record.
    • Without wishing to repeat the prose, I've added that Oxford finished 12 seconds ahead of Cambridge, so it hints at the answer. The Rambling Man (talk) 06:31, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Regarding the race, Hobson's number 5, John Garrett Cambridge's, I prefer?

That's that. Seattle (talk) 01:48, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Marvellous, thanks once again, all comments addressed and responded to inline above. The Rambling Man (talk) 06:31, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Watch reference 14. Seattle (talk) 13:52, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
    • Good spot, if you mean the incorrect format of the page parameter. I have that option switched on too, so it was purely an oversight on my behalf, for which I can only apologise. Thanks again. The Rambling Man (talk) 14:36, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
