I'll review this soon. Seattle (talk) 23:59, 5 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Comments:
  • Only linking years violates WP:EGG
    • I thought the context of adding "race" after was sufficient. See if I've fixed it... The Rambling Man (talk) 14:48, 8 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • rowed unsuccessfully for Oxford in the 1959 race before triumphing the following year. I would reword, I don't think one can "row unsuccessfully"
  • introduced modifications to the starting procedure can you be more specific?
  • Sean Bowden was head coach of Oxford is that a false title?
  • They passed the finishing post three lengths ahead, with an eleven-second advantage over the Dark Blues, in a time of 16 minutes 41 seconds, a time only bettered once before, in 1998. Staggered sentence by all of the commas. The infobox gives the lead at 3.5 lengths, while the text gives 3
  • If the time was the second-best in the history of the event, I think that deserves a mention in the lead.
  • The record reserve race time should be mentioned in the lead.

OK. Seattle (talk) 13:47, 8 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
