Proposal to move page to The Inbetweeners Movie[edit]

Seeing as this is an E4 / Film4 production with both official sites naming the film as The Inbetweeners Movie this page should be moved to The Inbetweeners Movie.

http://www.e4.com/video/TQj4bO65vLVw6gPaXvfyVm/play.e4

http://www.film4.com/videos/article/the-inbetweeners-movie-full-trailer

Note the E4 link uses capital 'M' for movie as well showing it is part of the title. Zarcadia (talk) 17:47, 13 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Seeing as there have been no objections in 2 days I will move. Zarcadia (talk) 15:59, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Release date[edit]

There seems to be some confusion regarding the release date. Some sources seem to suggest the 17th whilst others say the 19th. In fact, film4.com says both; August 19th here and August 17th here. The film distributor says 19th. It's difficult here to decide which is the correct date. Adambro (talk) 10:12, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It now shows correctly as 17th August. Zarcadia (talk) 21:41, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request from Hashbrownyyyy, 13 September 2011[edit]

During a recent interview ( I am a journalist) I received information that the amount this movie had grossed was thought to be around £78 MILLION Hashbrownyyyy (talk) 16:38, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. — Bility (talk) 17:09, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request from 90.195.141.169, 25 September 2011[edit]

On the page of The Inbetweeners Movie, it states that cinematography is by Jon Tester. This is incorrect, it's actually by Ben Wheeler

Done. Thanks for pointing it out and welcome to Wikipedia! jonkerz 20:22, 26 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Success of the Movie[edit]

I don't want to seem too pedantic, but to describe the film as having "....unprecedented success at the box office...." doesn't really make much sense, since it is (to date) the only "Inbetweeners" movie. At the very least, it is unclear what "precedent" is being cited... 82.3.144.140 (talk) 12:28, 25 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I imagine that would be unprecedented success for an adult comedy film and/or low budget independent British film.--Allthestrongbowintheworld (talk) 13:46, 5 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

International titles[edit]

The lede notes that the film was called just "The Inbetweeners" in the US, but doesn't mention anywhere else. In Germany, and possibly other territories, it appears to have been called "Sex on the Beach", with the sequel titled "Sex on the Beach 2" accordingly. danno_uk 10:32, 20 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
