Notability[edit]

I don't see Google hits alone -- especially only 3000 -- as justification of notability. While this club might be popular within a notable community, that does not itself make it notable. I'd need to see something remarkable about this club. For example, a historical role in drug culture or a rights movement. A scandal involving the club that made the news might suffice. But Wikipedia is not an entertainment guide. --Davidstrauss 21:19, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Now that I've read this, I think that page gives you everything you need to establish notability. --Davidstrauss 21:21, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
    • Primary sources are not enough for notability, some more reliable sources independent of the subject are needed. —Snigbrook 16:04, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
