Jeoffrey Thompson[edit]

Is he a real human? You try googling for him -'"Jeoffrey Thompson" Karate'. All you'll get is references to Exploding Fist, a picture of him wearing black belt and a karate outfit, etc.

He is also featured in "Computer & Video Games", issue 47 (September 1985), page 6 - with a photo of him playing The Way of the Exploding Fist against Tim Metcalfe, according to the caption.

Someone who was once a World Karate Champion would have SOMETHING, somewhere on the Net, but this guy - nothing ! It's like Melbourne House made him up - I wonder? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.30.141.195 (talk) 19:10, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Melbourne House didn't make him up, OR it hired some unknown man to pose as Jeoffrey (but it is odd, how Google won't even accept "Jeoffrey Thompson" as a search term, unless you put it in quotes, and keeps asking you, whether you would have meant someone else).88.192.33.35 (talk) 03:07, 21 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Game music[edit]

The music (of the C=64 version at least) was written by Neil Brennan, which is in turn was based on The Dance of the Yao People by Liu Tieshan and Mao Yüan, dated around 1950, which combined folk melodies of the Yao people from the Yunan province.
