Age of Wonders screenshot[edit]

It's not at all obvious in the screenshot that Age of Wonders is in fact a tile-based game. Maybe a better example could be found? SharkD  Talk  07:19, 27 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Tile set = texture atlas[edit]

This article has a tile set section. Is this the same as a texture atlas? --Abdull (talk) 09:38, 5 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Depends on the engine really, one of the ones i use has texturing splatting as it`s atlas. A tile set can refer to a few things, like a turn based game which uses multipile image tiles (Civ) or as i said as part of a splatting series of tiles used for LOD on large terrains mark nutley (talk) 09:58, 5 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
