There is no real explanation here of how this Toddy lost its alcohol (except for the Toddynho, which is different)--Rumping (talk) 11:05, 12 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not Official: In Venezuela around 1982-1983, Toddy stopped being produced, and the factory was closed with possible layoffs. Some time after the factory was sold, production resumed and the company was sold to PepsiCo.
