PS2 versions[edit]

Perhaps it should be mention that although Desert Seige was never released on the PS2, it's campaign can be found on the PS2 version of Ghost Recon. The same goes for Island Thunder, which can be found in Jungle Storm as already mentioned by the article.--Lewk_of_Serthic 15:19, August 25, 2005 (UTC)

3rd person view[edit]

Prescient storyline[edit]

Does anyone else find it fascinating that the storyline (released 2001) was about a Russian invasion of Georgia in August 2008...which has since come true?

As coincidental as it is that the storyline from years ago foreshadows current events, that doesn't mean the story can be changed to match what is happening in the world. The game references only "rebels" and not "South Ossetian rebels". In the very first level you are to attack a mountainous area in South Ossetia and the game even refers to the rebels as Ossetians. From the game, "The Ossetians have been skirmishing with the Georgian army for years, but lately the attacks have escalated to the verge of all-out war."   • IMHO you could just mention that it is noteworthy that current events caught up with elements of the storyline with a link to the page for the Georgian-Russian conflict.

Sorry baby, but its back in. Seen as you have presented absolutely no legitimate reason to remove this material. So you can take your personal opinion elsewhere. It's merely a coincidence, like the Futility, or the Wreck of the Titan, deal with it, its notable, and if you actually thought about it rationally, if these kind of coincidences didn't occur, THAT would be really weird.

Infobox[edit]

In the Infobox, the "Platform(s)" field includes "PC". I think that the "Platform(s)" field should specify a value or values from the " Supported platforms" section of the Vgclegend template. For example, if Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon (video game) only runs on MS-DOS, then Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon (video game)'s Infobox should specify "DOS" in the "Platform(s)" field.
