Breakpoint and Fallen Ghosts[edit]

Has anyone seen any commentary comparing Breakpoint to the Fallen Ghosts DLC for Wildlands? The set-up is practically the same: the Ghosts are shot down over Bolivia by Los Extranjeros, a rogue Special Forces unit armed with the latest gear—opticsl camo, portable jammers and so on (though I can't recall if Skell Tech was mentioned). The shot in the trailer of Nomad hiding under a fallen, muddy log as the Wolves search for him is practically identical to the Fallen Ghosts concept art (but then so is the Shadow of the Tomb Raider main menu screen). It wouldn't surprise me if this was Ubisoft playing around with enemy archetypes for Breakpoint since Fallen Ghosts was clearly experimenting with gameplay mechanics (it's worth noting that a refined version of the "followers" system from Narco Road found its way into Far Cry 5). Without sources, it's purely original research to put this into the article, but there are so many parallels between Breakpoint and Fallen Ghosts that I'd be very surprised if there is no commentary out there. We really need to update the plot![edit]

The plot generally follows the story well, but stops when Jace Skell is rescued halfway through the story. We really need to update this NOW. JustAnotherNZWikipedian (talk) 06:02, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
